Job Position : Operations Engineer and Analyst

Job Responsibilities :
Handling operations of Subex revenue assurance product
Working with the customer representatives; hand-holding them in terms of guiding them in the usage of the product
Adhering to Service Level Agreement (SLA) in day to day operations.
Implement change requests from customer with in the predefined SLA time lines.
Data base (SQL server 2008) and server (Windows 2008 server) maintenance of Subex revenue assurance solution.
Planning & Organizing: Planning and organizing, for better customer management.
Interfaces: Ability to interface with different departments internally, like GDO (Development), Professional Services.
Leadership: Willingness & Ability to assist, guide and direct the needy in the workplace, Attitude to share success and to own up failures, Ability to make a quick reasonably thought out decision and be a role model at Subex.
Communications Skills: The ability to plan and deliver written communications effectively. Knowledge in Bahasa Malaysia is an added advantage.
Interpersonal Skills: Ability to maintain relationship with Subexians and clients and ensure the task which needs to be coordinated is completed effectively.
Initiative: Identifying what needs to be done and doing it before being asked or before the situation requires it. Does more than what is normally required in a situation. Seeks out others involved in a situation to learn their perspectives. Takes independent action.
Commitment: Ability to walk an extra mile and go beyond the call of the duty to make things happen(Refer Subexian Traits).
Required :
At least 1 year in Subex ROC revenue assurance tool, previously known as Moneta.
Subex ETL tool (Diamond).
Experience in the communications sector, preferably with a GSM network.
Demonstrable track record of success and application of defined competencies.
Writing basic and advanced SQL queries in MS SQL, SQL server 2008 administration.
Windows server 2008 basic administration
Basic shell scripting.
Degree level education preferred but good relevant experience essential.
The ability to demonstrate concern for satisfying one’s internal/external customers. This would mean understanding the needs, working with them to define problems and desired outcomes, managing expectations well, following up with the customers to make sure that results meet or exceed expectations.
