Desired Qualification :
• BE/B.Tech in E&C/Computers/Information Science
• Candidates should have a minimum of 60% in engineering
Total Work Experience : 3 to 5 Years (Mandatory)
Relevant Work Experience : 3+ Years (Mandatory)
Mandatory Skills : Oracle PL/SQL
Required Skills :
• Excellent programming skills in SQL and PL/SQL
• Exposure to design tools like Oracle designer or similar tools
• Extensively worked on Packages, procedures & functions and writing queries
• Worked in Oracle 9i / 10g. Knowledge of new features in Oracle 11g
• Able to handle the tasks independently
• Adhere to organizational quality processes
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of SDLC process
Tasks :
• Data migration (from other databases/flat files to Oracle)
• Writing Package Procedures, functions and DB triggers
• Design data model based on requirements for new models
• Maintain databases (export, import and administration)
• Performance tuning
• Database migration
• Technical proposal including effort estimations for low to medium complexity tasks
• High/Low level design
• Analyze requirements / impact analysis and take appropriate and right decision
• Understanding customer expectations, gather requirements from customer and elaborate it to suit customer needs
