Job Description
As the “Marketing Analyst, SEO/CPC”,
reporting to the Marketing Director, you will have responsibility for
creating and implementing the Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Cost Per Click (CPC) strategy. For SEO
this includes optimization of site navigation, internal linking
structure, dynamic page templates, code, etc. For CPC this includes
campaign
management and analysis techniques including program design, implementation, ROI analysis, increasing CTR and reducing CPC, and fraud analysis. You will work with the Marketing team to develop promotional strategies for key product categories, Web/online presence optimization and CRM initiatives, while working with the product management and product development teams to determine new product development strategies and tactics to gain market share and growth.
Responsibilities:
• Creating PPC campaigns to specific requirements
• Maintain, manage and optimize PPC campaigns to deliver the best possible ROI
• Provide keyword research as necessary
• Make recommendations on landing page content to maximize quality score
• Attend internal meetings with the ability to provide campaign updates and strategic advice
• Provide a weekly report for each project managed
• To make recommendations based on statistical data in order to achieve the campaign objectives
• Provide support to other staff members as required
• Research for New SEO/PPC Strategies and Techniques

Skills
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript and other programming languages
• MUST have a STRONG SEO background (not entry level position)
• Individually Qualified in Google AdWords certification desired
• SEO Certified Professional designation (or equivalent) desired
• Experience in keyword research and build-out
• Strong knowledge of search and criteria of leading algorithms
• Experience with leading search engine ranking, traffic and analysis software
• Experience in MS Office suite
• Excellent analytical, written and numerical skills.
• In depth understanding of Google Adwords and equivalents on LinkedIn, Facebook, Yahoo! And Bing.
• Appreciation of latest bid management techniques and optimization.
• Be able to use Google Analytics and similar statistical packages.
• Produce written documents to a professional standard.
• Understanding of a variety of tools available that can be used to research keywords, manage and optimize PPC campaigns.
Abilities
• Fluency in English, both written and oral is essential. Fluency in other language(s), especially Dutch, is a bonus
• Strong mathematical, analytical and writing skills
• Analyze, summarize and present analytical reports
• Strong communication and team work skills
• University degree, with a marketing major. MBA preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Must be creative, have strong leadership and management skills.
• Must have 5-7+ years experience in marketing with an emphasis on sales lead generation.
• Hands-on experience in operational marketing, to execute campaign marketing mix elements focused on lead generation - particularly digital/online marketing, SEO, website maintenance and physical event management.
• Strong experience in adapting and localizing corporate plans and related campaigns to regional market needs.
• Extensive knowledge of marketing planning and budgeting.
• Very good marketing project management skills to allow for timely planning, executing & reporting on multiple marketing projects at the same time.
• Good writing skills (PR, Email content, Newsletters)
• Experienced in executing CRM and database driven campaigns, SugarCRM experience a plus.
• Channel Marketing experience.
• Team player to work in a multinational company.
• Outgoing, persuasive, success-oriented personality.
