The Greater Bombay Co-operative Bank Ltd., a Mumbai based Scheduled Co-operative Bank with business mix of over Rs. 2000 cr., is having ambitious expansion plans and invites applications from candidates fulfilling the following criteria for the position of Manager and Asst. Manager Legal.
Qualification:
Graduates with LLB/LLM degree. Preference will be given to candidates having previous work experience in Legal field / Co-op. Bank.
Key Deliverables:
• Filing of cases and obtaining of decree/award u/s 101 &91 of MCS Act.
• Drafting & Vetting of Property Documents & other correspondence.
• Attending police station, EOW and various Courts.
• Execution of recovery certificate / decree.
• Verification of title deed.
• Vetting plaints, W.S. Affidavit drafted by panel advocates.
• MIS Generation & Liaising with Banks' Advocates.
Knowledge of following Acts:
• Maharashtra Cooperative Society's Act 1960.
• SICA.
• N.I Act 1881 and procedure to be followed u/s 138.
• CRPC.
• SARFAESI Act 2002.
• DRT Act.
Key Skills Required:
Analytical, Problem Solving, Interpersonal and Communication. Age not exceeding 45 years as on 31.08.2011. Remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
