Desired Profile :

• Detailed understanding of Java technology concepts and J2EE application architectures for the delivery of websites.

• 2+ years hands-on experience in developing JSP based website solutions, particularly in the use and coding of interfaces that use Servlet, JSP and SOAP/REST technologies.

• JSP container (especially Tomcat) or Application Server experience, and the profiling / troubleshooting of the Web Application thereof.

• Proficient in XHTML, XML / XSLT and CSS level 2/3.

• Experience with JavaScript and Ajax and integrating these into server-side technologies.

• Experience working with a source control system, especially Subversion.

• Excellent written and verbal skills.

• Experience of Web Content Management systems, especially Morello / Alterian CME, will be a distinct advantage.

• Experience using Java to interface with an Oracle database would be an advantage.

• Experience of continuous integration software such as Hudson would be an advantage.

Percent of Travel Required : 25
