Mandatory Skills : QA or Quality Analyst or Test Engineer
Essential Experience :
• Must have 5 to 8 years of experience in testing and quality assurance of software applications Candidate must have sound experience in manual functional testing.
• Must have done both white box and black box testing and experience in developing effective test scripts from requirements is a must. Must be able to review and understand functional requirements and technical design documents to the extent necessary to develop good test scripts.
• Must have good working knowledge of relational databases like Oracle and SQL Server and must be able to create and execute complex queries to validate test results independently.
• Experience in automated test tools like HP QTP would be preferred.
• Experience in load/performance test tools like Load Runner would be an added advantage.
• ISTQB certification is preferred.
• Must have experience in testing both web based applications written in .NET/C#, Siebel and Java as well as testing of form based applications.
• Knowledge and experience of testing mainframe applications would be a plus.
• Must have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Must have good oral and written communication skills Must have ability to work in geographically distributed teams. Experience in managing end to end test process is a plus
